WDW Galaxy Edge - gotta get this off my chest!

Ok I’ve been watching the live feeds & such of GE from Disneyland - but I SO have to get this off my chest! Everyone says it so great, it’s so immersive, they’ve so enjoyed it. However, why do I feel that our GE is going to be TOO crowded, super long lines to the point where we here on the East coast wont be able to enjoy it? All the peeps enjoying it have the reservations & there is NO evidence our WDW is going to do that! Does anyone else get the sneaky feeling that DL did the reservations to build up the land, and us Eastcoasters won’t be able to get in for 2 years???? LOL 😂😂😂

Probably because the crowd is way bigger....so it should be twice as big?

In other news: researchers have found that common sense isn’t that common 😉

The poster was saying one was smaller - that is incorrect. I’m not saying there are positives or negatives about the lands being the same size. Simply trying to correct an inaccuracy.

Granted...though that’s the consolation prize in the operations long game here...

And before anyone whips out he “E” word...nuh huh, let’s not try to catch fairies in bottle here

Exactly, this assumption about DL GE being bigger keeps popping up. There seems to be a common misunderstanding about size.

I would think if either was bigger...it would be WDW. Flat ground there...

They literally put the Disneyland one next to a tressel for Disneyland drive...you could see the whole thing going in toward the hotels and lots.

Look at it this way...It will be The year round version of Osborne Specital on Batuu East.

Same location but year round crowds..

At both coasts Star Wars and Marvel should've anchored a new park. Both are aditiins to parks bursting at the seams. And technology can not manage crowds, does not make crowds feel lighter, despite what trendy management theory says. All this does is create hellish circumstances from which they can sell you an escape at exorbitant prices.

Speaking of, the first person to talk to me at the Poly this trip offered me a range of vip experiences and paid fastpasses. Useless hellhole this place has become.

1. I miss the Osborne lights. Now I am sad.
2. As for GE, my hope is DHS will have a virtual queue or reservation system to get into the land and time limits like DL. If they don't, it will be a mad house, like New Years Eve every day.

Of course it's going to be crowded. New lands usually are.
