Alright, this is my first post in a while, so bare with me here. I go to Clemson University in South Carolina. Anyway, today I was walking to class and I had the STRONGEST sense of Disney Deja Vu ever. I figured it was probably 1) The warm weather. 2) The sound of the Clemson Area Transit Buses(just like the wdw ones) 3) Walking with a crowd and finally there was some music off in the distance at some festival thing today. Anybody else ever have Disney Deja Vu?

Feel free to post any smells, tastes, sounds, or sights that get you missing wdw.

An office I used to do work in at Henley on Thames had one air conditioning unit that smelt just like Disney. Weird, but it worked for me :D

I get this all the time - I think for me it's when it's really sunny at about noon and there are zero clouds in the sky. Plus, the smell of freshly cut grass does it.

When I'm anywhere with an indoor fountain/waterfall/water, I'm reminded of the smells of PoTC & Small World... I think we all know that smell... makes me wish I was at Disney every time.

Has to be a combination of factors. Bright sunny day with a blue sky and a few wispy clouds, right combination of humidity (hard to measure but you know it when you feel/smell it in the air) and early morning because I’m always up first thing to head out to the parks. That “magical” combination induces a supernatural sensation of being at WDW. Doesn’t happen often but that makes it all the more special!

Sometimes I randomly catch a scent and announce, "It smells like Disney World!" while my friends look at me, puzzled.

Humid, warm weather, outside music, and fountains will do it too. My most recent deja vu was when I was at DC--the combination of crowds of people, tourists sprinkled throughout, statues, fountains, street performers, and nice weather...plus I rode the metro---that totally did it.

Wednesday, it started out on the lukewarm side then all of a sudden it was 86 degrees...that felt like waking up in the morning at the resort and it being a little cool then all of a sudden the heat hits you. Then one day at the Shafer street dining center at VCU, they were making ribs in the rams cafe. I swear it smelt just like that scene in spaceship earth...one week I had such bad disney withdrawls that I could watch tv and the slightest little thing made me think of disney. I think it was the disney blues

I have a brother named Chris that goes to Clemson and loves disney... hmmm... ;)

I always get disney deja vu - mostly when dining in a new somewhat disneylike restaurant... but often when I hear the trains go by behind our house - they remind me of the monorails... Just today I was walking into around Lowe's and the musty smell reminded me of Ellen's Energy Adventure... :) too fun!
