Actually I feel that the description of property control/Cast Connection is a bit unfair... There are 3 sections to property control (the CM only store behind Magic Kingdom). There is a trailer that (as stated above) carries damaged/scuffed/dated merchandise known as the 'bargain trailer'. However, next door to that is a large warehouse-type building (known as the Cast Connection) that carries first-run merchandise along with some discontinued merchandise. Shirts, scrapp-booking supplies, pins, plush, toys, hats, coffee, candy, holiday decorations, you name it. The third part is the latter half of this warehouse building (known as property control) where you can find things like old hotel beds, former costumes, old golf-carts (pargos), arcade machines, computers, even cars, trucks and vans. You can find some GREAT deals there. This is where I've picked up my truck and 2 of my computers.Hey
I'm not entirely sure of your question, but "we" - The University of Minnesota - are amongst the first to recruit/interview Spring 2007 applicants. The date for us to start accepting phone-interviews is October 12th... the day of our presentation. I don't know of any schools that are accepting applicants before us (if so, i'd love to hear for information sake).
The second question you posted is hard to answer. There is a place called 'property control' that sells used/lost and found merchandise to existing cast members for very cheap. It is located near where CP's are dropped off (near MK) and is available to any CM. There are rare gems available, but it's not like this tent is a mecca for CMs/CPs. They will have t-shirts, less-than-perfect picture frames, scuffed merchandise and other random products... but don't count on this to be your end-all and be-all of Disney gifts and products.
Again, I'm not sure what you are asking, but I hope this helps....
