@AJH219 hit the nail on the head for HEA and Illuminations for me! Especially HEA. I appreciated how it emphasized that YOU have to be the one to MAKE your dreams come true...not just wishing for things to happen.

As for shows, it's gotta be Festival of the Lion King. Even though I've seen it hundreds of times, I am constantly captivated by the dancing and acrobatics, the costumes and vocals. It's not some one-dimensional 'let's retell the movie that everyone knows through 3 acts' show. It's 30 minutes of complete artistry that just brings me pure joy and has me bopping up and down in my seat without even knowing it. :p

What are some of your favorite shows and why do you like them?
My absolute favorite show is watching them make caramel apples because OMG.

The only show I can think of that I'd literally see EVERY time possible is the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular because it's a step above anything else in the parks. I like the music, story, and subject matter and it has great choreography, lighting design, and special effects. That rubbish at MVMCP is terrible, on the other hand. I'll use that time to stuff my face with more cookies next year.

I also love all (three) parades currently presented at MK.

Fantasmic! is still compelling for nostalgia's sake and I love Happily Ever After for its visuals.

My Family just can't get away from Fantasmic and the Indiana Jones show (i've been a volunteer several times). We love these shows and will not miss them. basically both of my kids started seeing these shows as infants and have see them every other year for the last 20 years. we miss the Tarzan Rocks show. we thought it was great too.

Evening show, Illuminations. The most divine 15 minutes this side of heaven.

Attractions, Voyage of the Little Mermaid. Charm, great use and mix of puppetry and live actors, perfect score, tells a better story than the ride. Some really talented performers!

I love many of the shows throughout the world, I am probably in the minority when I say that the Festival of the Lion King is not one of them. I tolerate it, use it as a place to rest. I feel this way, even though it is my favorite animation of all time. My favorite show, one that I can not get enough of it Finding Nemo the Musical. For me, it is perfect in everyway.

In second place, The Muppets Present great moments in history, both shows. It screams classic Muppets, is funny, entertaining and educational. There is one town crier that is amazing during the show. He really worked the crowd.

If counting parades, than Boo-Too-You would come in third here, I am not a big parade person, but this one I crave to watch every time I can.
