The Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides 3D Sneak Peek not only boasts perhaps the longest attraction name in history, but they also have this clever little pre-show area in the queue to get in where a pirate lass talks to an interactive parrot who jokes and riffs and talks to the passing audience in the queue. It's a fun little gag on your way in, but I kept trying to figure out why that parrot looked so darn familiar.

You can see him in action from the 10 second to 15 second mark of this short DisneyParks video of the Pirates Sneak Peek attraction. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HjLyafXelyU

It finally hit me last weekend, when I realized he's the same parrot from the entrance to WDW's Pirates of the Caribbean! I googled up his picture, and it's the exact same animatronic. Here he is back in the 20th century when he was on the WDW payroll staffing the entrance to the pirate ride.

Except now he's living out here in SoCal, he's had a fresh tune up, and he doesn't have to stick to just a few pre-programmed lines of dialogue. The Pirates Sneak Peek thing only runs from March through Memorial Day Weekend, but now that he's a Disneylander I wonder where his next gig will be?
