WDW Actors

You know, after I started visiting these boards, I heard about the actors that go around the parks, like at the Studios and MK, interacting with Guests. I have NEVER seen them. I'm not talking about the various bands that you see every now and then. And I know there is the Sword in the Stone bit, Belle's stories, the hoedown and the Adventureland tumblers. But I'm talking about the mayor in Main Street and an archeologist (I think) in Adventureland, and a prospector in Frontierland... Has anyone seen them? I heard that the ones at the Studios are fan-favorites...

I've met the mayor He was walking near the hub, being ignored by everyone else. We stopped him, talked for a few minutes, and got his autograph. I don't remember if we got a picture with him, but if I get the time I'll check. I'm afraid I don't recall seeing any of the other characters.

I've met the mayor before too. He is really cool.... I took a picture with him.

I also danced line dancing with the Frontierland actors, that was fun!

I have met most of the actors in MGM, and they are sooooo hilarious, we were watching them throw plungers at the garbage can... "We work for three minutes, then take a 30 min. break..." :lol:

But you can find those actors everywhere, especially on Hollywood Blvd.

I've seen them on Main Street at MK, at the Hollywood/ Sunset areas on MGM (trust me, you can't miss them here, they're everywhere), and Dinoland at AK as well. There are also some at Adventureland, Frontierland, and I believe Future World as well. I've heard something about a Caveman who walks around neer Ice Station Cool, but I've never seen him.

I remember on my first trip (1997) I was in Fronteirland and there was a cop actor that looked like he came out of a western movie (I'm pretty sure) and he put handcuffs on me and said something like "You're comin' with me!"

I've seen them on Main Street and in front of Space Mountian before.

I don´t remember seeing many actors at the Studios or MK, but I remember seeing them during Flower and Garden Festival in Epcot. There were the gardener and the hippies. I loved them! :lol:

Last trip we ran into the archealogist in Adventureland, he plays the same character at the Adventurer's Club at PI.

Been to the parks a million times and have only seen the mayor and the two ladies with him. Do the other people come out only at parade time or maybe on the weekends? I'll have to keep my eyes open for them.:lookaroun
