WDW 40th Anniversary (Open Brainstorming)

In 2011, Walt Disney World will be celebrating it 40th anniversary. I want to have a group of WDWMagic Imagineers think up some ideas for the gala. My first idea is to expand on another idea from a different thread. That idea was to do a "We Are the World"-type commercial with Disney characters.

What do you think?

Some Quick Ideas thrown out from me...

• New Parade featuring a unit for each themed area with the finale float celebrating four parks one world. So many character opportunities Frontierland- Woody/Jesse, Liberty Square- PATF/HM Characters, Adventureland- Tarzan, Pirates, UP, Tomorrowland- Buzz, Stitch, Wall-E, Fantasyland- Princesses Etc...
• New Fireworks Show- It's a necessity. M3 Is amazing, but a show along the lines of Remember would be amazing, or a look back at Disney Animated Movies starting at Snow White and Moving up toward PATF or something.
• Star Tour II can dominate the celebration at Studios with Meets by Star Wars Character all year long, and the biggest Star Wars Weekends event ever!
• MiSiCi street party will be retooled, and new street parties will head to all the different parks, shows about the size of HSM that can just pop up have a huge party with confetti and streamers and all sorts of stuff.
• Fantasmic retooled with a new Dragon, Pocahontas Sequence replaced, and some general updates.
• TSM Updated to include a new game specifically relating to the event.
• Enchanted Tiki Room gets a brand new show, which will be a nostalgic look back at the original, but with new zest.
• ROE Gets the tag (Idea stolen from the Summer Nightastic rumors) about how far we've come as a world in the last forty years, which would feature various soundbytes from significant events.
• JII Refurb- Finally.
• World of Color at DAK Along the river outside Theatre in the Wild.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head, but I'm sure there's more sloshing around up there so keep this thread up top and We're bound to create a great event!
