If it is like the normal Disney intern program I'm not sure if you would want anyone you knew to do it. I have known several people that did the normal Disney intern programs and none were that thrilled with how the interns were treated. One common theme among them was you get paid, BUT you are then required to stay in Disney provided housing and are charged for it at rates that were not as favorable as what you could find on your own... In other words it was a bit like working in an old company town where employees were taken advantage of.
Correct. I don't think you *have* to do the CP first, but your chances are a lot better if you do. The professional internships are the next step up from CP to getting into a management position. These PI positions come up every few months in all different job categories. I think a year or so ago I even saw one at Yellow Shoes...now that would be awesome!!!
