Arriving late August. Any tips on when is the best day or time to hit the waterparks? Morning, afternoon, weekday, weekend? We are booked for 10 days on a park hopper, water parks and more pass.

In August? As early in the morning as you can! The water parks can get very crowded in the heat of the day.

One other suggestion even though EMH has been mentioned: do evening EMH if they're offered! One particular night in august a couple years ago, my boy and I did TL until 10 or 11 at night. We had an absolute blast!

Not that in August the water parks will be any less crowded, but we've always tried to go during the middle of the week, usually a Wednesday or Thursday. It tends to help a little....

But still get there as early as possible.

Try tripreports - there is a link somewhere on this site or just google it for crowd levels. Get there as early as possible in the day - August is in Florida is like standing on the surface of the sun!:hammer:
Another good tip is if it is on a EMH day, go right around dinnertime (5 o'clock) when everyone starts clearing out to eat and you will still have plenty of time at the park.

Go right AFTER the inevitable afternoon shower. The park will have thinned out drastically and all the slides will practically be walk-ons.
