Waterpark Annual Passes

Hi,

I hope I'm posting this in the correct thread.

Next summer, I'm planning a trip to Florida from the UK. It will have been four years since my last visit, and this time we'd just like to visit Typhoon Lagoon & Blizzard Beach during our 3/4 week stay.

From the UK you don't seem to be able to buy just a waterpark only ticket, and certainly not a ticket cover our proposed holiday duration.

Does anyone know if I can purchase an WaterPark Annual Pass without holding a USA residential address?

hello there, and welcome.
We Fly from the UK spending 3 weeks in Orlando most years and we get 21 day ticket from our travel agent. That covers all the parks, (yes including the water ones) and also DQ at DD not sure you could do 4 weeks worth of Disney,as there's so much to do in Orlando,Florida but hey, i'm just thinking it might save you a bit of extra money but id speak with your travel agent, see what they would suggest.

I don't think there is an annual pass for just the waterparks. I could be wrong but I know the premium annual includes water dq and golf at the walking course. And your park hoppers can be adjusted to add water parks.

The water park AP is about $100 and is available to all. There is a cheaper one that allows you in after 2:00, but that might be a Florida resident thing, I'm not sure.

I buy my water park AP separately because I don't need the "and more" part of the "water parks fun and more" that comes with the AP with all the bells and whistles. I only save $50, but that's still $50 I would have spent on nothing. It does mean I have two different cards, but that is nice because I can keep my water park pass in my water park bag. :)

I don't know what kind of deals they offer for the UK. You might be able to get water parks added on somehow for less than $100.

Do you just buy these at any Guest Relations window? We have the regular annual passes, but we never got the premium ones because, like you we don't want the "and more" part. We do like the water parks and my son would go there every day, if he could. The savings is $25 pp for us, but that's $75 all together. This is seems like it's too good to be true, you know? You break even in two visits. lol

I buy mine at the water park. I assume you could buy one at any Guest Relations (or Guest Services or whatever it is) window, but I don't know.

They do pay for themselves in two visits! :)

I'm with your son!! I think I probably spend more time at Blizzard and Typhoon than any other single person! I make good use of my water park AP, that's for certain. :) I'm considering not renewing my park AP for WDW, but never giving up the water parks, lol.

Yes you can get them at guest relations. You can even get a one day ticket and if you decide later in the day that you want an AP, just take that days ticket to the window and it will be credited towards the AP. totally worth it. My family has gone at least 8 times this year. We especially go during the summer when the regular parks are too hot and crowded. There's never a rush as we don't feel the need to do rides over and over each trip. Sometimes I've spent the entire day in the lazy rivers.

Maybe I am missing something here, but I don't seem to appreciate the need for an AP for the waterparks. Especially if you are visiting from out-of-state and/or out-of-country. Does anyone really go to the waterparks enough to justify the AP price versus paying only the day rate when and if you actually decide to go because the weather cooperates? Why pay for admission to a waterpark you may never use? What is daily rate? What is waterpark AP rate?

The AP is cheaper than buying admission for two days, so the pass pays for itself quickly.

I understand vacationers not going to a water park more than once...or even at all! I never visited them until I moved to Florida.

Especially now that they're going to require people to schedule FPs months before traveling...and water parks being so weather-dependent...I can so understand skipping them. They're pretty skippable!

But the water parks have their fans and I am one. :)

We still have some water park pluses from when we did the first year of "Magic Your Way" tickets, all the park days are gone, but still have 2-3 water park and more days left. I always enjoyed a day at the water park, but we were done for the day, the sun and water really took it out of us.
