A bit like taking a bath with your coat on  If you're going swimming you wear a swim suit / shorts

I applaud someone who is concerned about the sensibilities of those around him.

Some chests/bellies I really do NOT want to see.

There is also the very real sunburn issue.
I remember when I went to FL (Daytona, with a day trip to WDW, which was only MK at that time), there were signs at the hotel pool:
Caution! Florida is considered to be sub-tropical. The sun here is more intense that in more northern cities, and you may find that you burn faster. Please take precautions.

May I just say that I turned 16 that summer and (as is typical for teenagers) chose to ignore the warnings. I was sorry....

well, i beg to differ

growing up in the northeast, no matter how hot it gets here, it's nothing like the flordia sun

so, instead of reapplying sunscreen every 20 minutes, we tend to wear wetsuit-like "rash guards" up here, they work to prevent rashes from using a bodyboard or surf board, but they work as spf 30 that never wears off:animwink:, so its either that or we turn bright pink for the rest of the trip

so it's not that we wear it for no reason, its because we just arn't cut out for that flordia sun :hammer:
