Water Pageant

Any thoughts on the best place/time/day to see the Electrical Water Pageant? I haven't seen it since I was 5 (about 8 trips ago) when we stayed at The Disney Inn, but I really want to see it this June.

They have something called a "Fireworks Cruise" if you call 1(407) WDISNEY they can give you information. But for like 150 bucks or so you get a private boat with i think up to 8 people and you have a private captain and everything who gives you tons of trivia. And they take you out onto the 7 Seas lagoon and before stopping in front of Cinderella's Castle they bring you directly in front of the Electrical Water Pageant. It's absolutely incredible. But, I also hear there's a great spot from the Wilderness Lodge's dock. The pageant travels right passed there.

The cruise idea sounds so cool!

My favorite place to watch it is at the Polynesian on the beach. It's so nice to be relaxing on the beach and watching the show with Cinderellas Castle in the background.

Its really only $150 for up to 8 people.....way cool...I’m definitely going to take my family out next time I’m down in Disney with them.:)

The best place to watch the Pageant is from the beach or dock at the Polynesian. The beach is nice because you are able to relax, but the dock is closer to the floats. It doesn't really matter what day you see it because it is always the same.

I've seen it from my Contemporary Tower balcony, the Grand Floridian, and the Fort Wilderness Beach.

I would say go for the Polynesian as well. I like the Polynesian beach the best.

We actually saw this by accident. We were boarding the ferry right after closing at the Magic Kingdom, and it was held up by the pageant. We were able to watch the entire pageant from the ferry docked at the MK. (Bet we couldn't do that again if we tried!)

The Polynesian gets the best show, and gets to see the parade the earliest. This is because it was created for the Polynesian a while ago for some occasion. It really wasn't supposed to last long, but guests loved it then, and love it now...so it has stuck around.

So the Polynesian Beach is probably the best place to get a look at the pagaent.

Thanks much for the advice. It sounds like the Polynesian Beach is the best bet. I have yet to see the Wilderness Lodge since it was completed, so we might "wander" over there to check it out, but I've always enjoyed the peacefulness of the Polynesian, and I'm sure there would be a better view of the castle and Fantasy in the Sky from the beach there anyway. I can't wait! Just another month!

It was originally created for the luau (bad spelling i know) but became so popular they show it @ all resorts on the lagoon
