Water Bottles

This may be a silly question, but do water bottle slings or carry straps count as bags, for park entry purposes? What's your preferred method for carrying water at the park? We'll be two adults with no kids, so we could theoretically go bagless, but I know I'll want to carry water even if I don't bring a bag.

I keep it pretty simple. I buy a bottle of water and carry it around. I refill it at a water fountain or just buy another when I want it to be iced cold.

I doubt they would make you go through bag entry if it's just one of those straps that hooks to the water bottle.

We've been twice in 2013 and both times we carried water bottles or used our water bottle straps and had no problem going through bagless entry.

We were there in November and went through no bags with a water bottle attached to a strap.

Absolutely take water with you. I bought a 24 pack of 16oz bottles of Zephyrhills once for $5.00 - $6.00. I threw many of them into a cooler and brought two at a time into a park. By comparison, a 20oz bottle of Dasani at Disney costs $2.50.

I always recommend bringing filtered water bottles to the parks. We have used our Bobble bottles the past two trips, and they're fantastic! Saves us a ton of money over buying water at the parks each day.

i use one of those light carry weight bags and put it on my back this time i will be traveling with a stroller so no bag for me!
