Was offered a position but haven't heard back. Direct line to Casting Center?

Hello all,
I was wondering if anyone knew of a direct line to someone in the casting center. I was offered a position of Stage Technician and was told I would be receiving an email with a packet to fill out for my background check Thursday evening but I never received it. So I'm trying to get in contact with the recruiter that I spoke with Thursday afternoon but I can't seem to get a real person on the phone when I call the main phone number, just the automated messages. Dialing 0 doesn't work, so is there a direct number I can call or a specific combination of numbers to dial from the main line to talk to someone?

I don't believe the Casting Center is open on the weekends, I mean idk when you tried calling, but yeah. That could be the problem.

Well, I tried calling multiple times on Friday around 4/430p. The Casting Center is supposedly open from 8a to 8p. But, I finally received the email from my recruiter yesterday afternoon around 4p so my issue had been resolved! ☺ Thank you for your response though!

UPDATE: I heard back from the recruiter and I got the job! My traditions class will be august 8th!

Now that I know I have the job, my wife and I need to move up there. Any advice on cretain areas to live in or NOT live in? We're coming from Miami so it's not a cross country move but we need to be there by August 1st. Any advice on house or apartment rentals would be appreciated! If it helps, we're looking for a 3-4 bedroom house/apartment/townhouse/condo no more than 1250/mo close to a good school, my wife is a school counselor.

May I ask how you went about applying? I have a relative with a degree in Theater and Costuming, with a lot of stage tech. expericence as well. She's had no luck applying. Any suggestions?

I applied online thru disneycareers.com on Dec 18th 2014. I can honestly say I wasn't actively looking for a job, I saw there was a entertainment technician position open and applied just to see if I'd get a response.

I didn't hear back from them until April 11th 2015. You need to have some patience. I'm sure they receive thousands of applications a month and from what someone else said, you are initially chosen by a computer that scans for keywords on the application. Not sure if it's true but then again, manually going through all of those applications would take forever.

I have 12 years of audio and lighting experience, which I reflected on my application and resume. I also had a list of equipment, audio consoles, mics and software that I've worked with on my typed resume that I attached to the application, maybe that helped me get the callback email? Not sure what it was.

Hopefully this helps you and your relative out!

I applied in mid-May so I should just be patient. I guess I expected this to be like a normal job process and it be rather quick.

How do you find out if you are hired? Phone call? Do they send an email if you're not?0

I received a phone call with an official job offer from my recruiter about 2-3 weeks after my initial phone interview. Not sure if they will send an email if you're not, but I would think they would out of courtesy
