Beginning this week there will be nightly lane closures just south of Gainesville, Fl. FDOT will be installing guardrails through a piece of lowland called Paynes Prairie. Lane will be closed Mon.-Thur. 9pm-6am till summer.

Do you know how far they are going to lay these down other than a piece?

I believe it is only about 1 mile of work through an area called Paynes Prairie, it's a marshy preserve area where there have been several sever accidents.

Especially in thick fog. Fortunately, going southbound, there is a rest area immediately before going through it if you want to stop.
