Hi everyone, I have been interested in working for disney for years in Attractions. I work right now in NH as a Attractions Coordinator for a small amusement park and wondering how it is working at Disney in the Attractions role? If anyone could help me out in answering this that would be great. Thanks.

Im sure it would help to a certain extent. Make sure you put that in your resume, the fact that you have EXPERIENCE and you know what its like to work with people, even if its in a small amusement park.

i worked at a small amusement park here in ohio summer 04 then i did the CP this summer. It is simply amazing to work at Disney. There is really no comparison...actually i worked less hours at Disney as I did at the other park (i worked around 70 hours a week at that park...and about 50 at disney)

DIsney attractions can be good and bad, I got TOuch to Be a bug which was fun to me for the time being but I've heard stories of peopel being unhappy at some places, the one nice hting is if you become a regular CM and not a CP as positions open at other attractions you can apply and be moved around as you feel. Its a nice thing to be able to work one place for 8-12 months then when it gets boring or if you don't liek it you can bounce some place else.

I worked at ValleyFair ON PURPOSE (sp??) a year before I did my CP thinking it would help me get "cast" in that "role" I was outta luck, I got cast in operations....BUT I got put at Downtown Disney. I was sooooooooooo upset!!! I talked about my "dream" of working at the MK my whole life, and wanting to work at the Haunted Mansion..etc etc...and I didn't get put there.
