Want photo techniques

I am jealous of how good the pictures are in these threads. I would like to know what techniques you use to get these shots, especially at night. I have a Canon A70 and take decent pictures, but would like to do better. We are headed to WDW the last week of May and I want some great pictures. Thanks in advance

For me it was just a lot of picture taking and practice to get decent pictures. The A70 is a real good camera, I currently have the Pro 90 IS and love the quality of the pictures.

As for night picture you would for the most part need a tripod or some other sort of stand to hold the camera steady to get good pictures. I would suggust taking a bunch of night pictures at home or around town before you go to figure out the best settings for the camera.
