Title says it all .
Would you rather Wandavision and similar shows are on a weekly basis , or dropped all at once ?

I actually think I like weekly. The age of binge watching has made me get through shows so quickly... it’s nice to be forced to enjoy something slowly.

Weekly. This has been discussed, but I like having a week to digest the episode, look up easter eggs, talk about it with friends and get excited for what is to come.

The all at once method is just so instant and then over. Then we wait forever for another episode and discussions die.

I feel like very few shows now become must-see because they are only popular for a weekend.

We actually drag out binge-able shows. One or two episodes a week.

I dont have any friends to talk to about the show from one episode to the next and I don't go looking at "whatifs" or anything during the week.

I like weekly episodes because I am old enough to remember thats how TV was. You watched it on the night it was on, and if you missed it, you missed it. The ability to just go find the program and watch it is admittedly convenient.

Leave it to Beaver just showed up on the Roku channel and I watching two or three episodes of that a day, so kinda binge watching. No one tell me what happens.

There are some shows I like to binge, and others I like to watch weekly. For the "watercooler" type shows, where spoiler avoidance is a vital part, I prefer weekly. I don't want to have to binge everything, super fast, just to keep up with someone else's pace. Plus, I would think you would lose the emotional impact of say, the Mandalorian's "The Tragedy" if you could immediately blow through that moment by watching the next episodes and the finale and experience a whole different type of emotion. You want episodes like that to percolate a bit. At least I do.

As long as weekly, means this new version of "one per week, until all episodes are exhausted," and not network television version "we're going to show you 8 episodes, then go on hiatus, then show you one or two, and then take another month long break, then 3 more, another break, and then the rest of the episodes for May sweeps." Network shows like this, which rely heavy on mythology, we tend to let build up on our DVR and watch 2-3 at a time. Otherwise, I forget what the important clues and plot points I'm supposed to have remembered are.

What I said in the main WandaVision thread:

Releasing episodes weekly makes sense. It's a TV show, not a movie.

I get why people want to binge it, because of how slow it is to dole out information and reveal what's going on, but have a little patience people.

It's nice to have "water cooler" shows in this day and age, where instant gratification is the norm. There's actually time to discuss the show, without everyone being at different stages of their viewing.

Another big issue is spoilers. Anything Star Wars or MCU, you've got a short window to catch it before articles and comments start showing up online, ranging from vague and slightly spoiler-y to flat out revealing major plot points.

If they released every episode of WandaVision, it wouldn't feel like people have a choice as to how to watch it. You either binge it all at once, or take the risk that details will likely be spoiled before you finish up 9 weeks later.

I would prefer twice a week. An entire week of waiting for the next episode is too long in the age of instant gratification. If it was released twice a week, I feel that would give ample enough time to digest, dissect, and keep the anticipation hot. But, I prefer weekly as opposed to all at once.

I am not but ok. If you say so.
Over 90% of posters say weekly. How do you manage to spin that into more people want it all at once ?

If you polled the people that don't post on a Disney fan site, I think those numbers would be different. the same posters week after week saying the same thing is not the majority.
