Walt's Reactions

What would Walt's favorite ride be?
What would his response be to our favorite attractions?

Here's what I would think:

His favorite attraction would be THE AMERICAN ADVENTURE: The advanced technology, special effects, animatronics, views, etc.

Here's what I would think would please him:

1) Seeing Country Bear Jamboree, HoP, HM, and PoTC (As he never got to see the finished product, and the finish products were goood )

2) Carousel of Progress: He'd be overjoyed to see people still enjoying this attraction, but may not want to see himself on the TV screens (even though he should be there )

3) Tiki Room: He'd be insulted: hearing this bird coming from nowhere saying "YOU'RE OUTDATED...GET A LIFE!" when Tiki was one of Walt's favorite creations.

4) New Attractions he'd like: Splash Mountain, Winnie the Pooh, Alien Encounter

What do YOU think?

YEP!

That was interesting...I will have to read it again (looks under "Favorites")... I don't think he'd be TOO happy with EPCOT, but yes to certain attractions

I would like to think he would cry tears of joy to see anything there in WDW as I did. i am big fan of him ( Mr. Disney)and have recently started to read about his amazing life. I am also a huge fan of the Philadelphia Orchestra (we go frequently) and I think Fantasia is brilliant!:sohappy:

No Brainer, Walt would be on the train. He was a lover of trains and had a small one you could ride in his backyard.

I also believe Walt would get a big charge out of Splash Mountain.

He would be forever tinkering with CoP and it would never go away.

And you would bump into him occasionally having a sundae at the Plaza.

Walt knew there is a kid inside everyone, and he worked his magic to bring that kid out. When I go to WDW, I'm a kid again.

Just a guess, but I think Walt would love Railway Garden in Germany at EPCOT. It combines two of his favorite things: trains and minatures.

I think that he would be amazed that they really are working on bringing all their dreams to life. Remember there was enough land to hold everything they could imagine. 4 theme parks, 2 (or 3) watrer parks, 18 resorts, night time entertainment, recreation, an entire transportation system, and more. He would probably be impressed to see it all (and to see it all grow).

I'm sure he'd like Alien Encounter. He'd find it very creative.

I think he would like ToT, if not for the ride, just for the sheer imaginative creation that went into the attraction.

But really, if he were alive to give his opinion, I wouldn't be able to guess what it would be since WDW would more than likely be entirely different than it is in it's current state.

i think he would have liked splash mountain, and he would also be amazed that there are now four theme parks

I think he would like to see Splash Mountain, World Showcase, Spaceship Earth, Timekeeper, CoP, CBJ, POTC, HM, and Animal Kingdom. I am not sure if he'd like Alien Encounter, but who's to know!

I think Walt would think Fantasmic! is magnificent but would most likely work on it to make it better. He probably would like DD, TL, and BB. He most likely would love World Showcase but would definitly add Africa which was his original plan (which was never followed through.) He would redo almost all of Future World except Spaceship Earth and Mission Space. He would get Figment back in his original form too. Animal Kingdom would get a lot more attractions and Walt would adore it. Walt might not be to thrilled over MGM Studios. Except things like Mermaid, BatB, Hunchback, Fantasmic!, Great Movie, Muppets, and back lot. Animation would also stay. I don't know if Walt would like RaRc or ToT. And for that matter I don't think he would care for Pleasure Island. Would Walt like Alien Encounter no. A question that wasn't on here should be. Would Walt like the movies being made? I think he would like the animated ones except for copies since he was against them and Country Bears. I personally think that Fantasia 2000 would make him mad. I really do.
