Has Disney opened up Walts firehouse apartment for vip tours??
Has anyone got anymore info on this?

It's not. I *think* the only way to get in tour-wise is through Adventures by Disney's SoCal trip.Isn't it part of the Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour?
I heard a review where they were allowed in and sat on the furniture and everything for a D23 event "Off the Map", but obviously those events are far from regular occurrences. I swear there was a tour where they at least let you look inside, though.
I believe for Off the Map they toured the Dream Suite. The apartment is pretty much always off limits, I'm surprised they let the DCP students tour it.

They toured the Dream Suite, Walt's apartment, the Lilly Belle, and Club 33 for dinner.

Yeah, I think the Firehouse apartment was the Disneyland equivalent of Walt sleeping in his office at the studio, which I believe he did many times. That's why what eventually became the Dream Suite was built.LOL the apartment is amazing. It's tiny and it's not on the scale of the Dream Suite, which I've seen too, but it's a lot more special.
