Walt Disney's Carousel Of Progress

My son ask me the other day the words to the Carousel Of Progress and of course my mind went blank. I sorta of have the melody in my head but no words. He has been thinking about it for 3 days and is driving him nuts. We have asked everyone and we all can't remember. I suggested to him I post a thread here to see if anyone can tell us the words.

I think its "...There's a great big beautiful tomorrow and tomorrow is just a dream away..."

It also might be "...he follows his dream with mind in heart..." but that one I'm not so sure about, though.

so what exactly is the deal with CoP, because of budget cuts, it pretty much just sits there dark and empty until some busier times roll around and then they open it up again for those few days?? i think thats so strange, either leave it open or close it and get something new, but just quit this "inbetween" stage that its currently in:hurl:

I don't mean to disappoint you, but I too was really hoping CoP would be open when I went during President's Day week- one of the busiest times of the year, and unfortunately it was not. So, I doubt it will be open in March. However, Disney does strange things with it (example: it was open the Thursday Friday before I went which from what I heard were not nearly as busy :veryconfu )

Oh well. I wish you good luck!

Thanks everyone who replied my Son and Myself can finally quit racking are brain. I hope the COP is open when we are there.
This is the first time back with my parent since I was a kid and I wanted to share alot of these memory with my son however some of the rides are no longer there. I hope COP stays open so I can atleast have that memory.

carrousel is not slated to be open for march. because its seasonal now they wont have it up and running till june. they have to leave it in the park even if they only use it once a year.its in disneys will.

If I were you and your son really wants to know the words. Get a CD that has the song...I have CD entitled "Walt Disney World Resort The official Album" Not sure if it's still at Disney. But it has the song your looking for.

Thanks for the info BUZZ BABE, and while I'm disappointed it won't be open when I'm there next week, I am heartened to hear that it'll be open in June. Do you have any idea if it be open the first week in June? I'll be back that weekend . . .
