Walt Disney World Resort Mexico








Parks​

  • Jupiter’s Realm: Much like DisneySea in Tokyo except themed entirely to the cultures of the ancient Mediterranean. Largest of all Disney parks worldwide, at almost 700 acres open to guests. Consists of 140 attractions, including 73 rides, 50 shows, and 17 galleries. Plenty of room for expansion means many future projects are currently being designed or built. Also there are almost 80 shops and 60 eateries. Takes at least three or four days to explore in entirety. Disney resort guests are given a special ticket to enter for free on the third or fourth day of visitation to the park. Hours are from 7:00 a.m. to midnight; however, rides do not open until as late as 8:00 a.m. most days. Within walking distance to the park are the luxurious, five-star Disney’s Venezia Resort & Spa, Hyatt Regency at Walt Disney World Mexico, and Disney’s Ottawa Lodge, as well as the acclaimed four star Disney’s Malaysian Village Resort. All other Walt Disney World Mexico resorts attractions are accessible by ferry and/or by PeopleMover. Thirteen lands are:

  • Tomorrow’s Discoveries Showcase: World’s fair type exhibition park similar to Future World in Walt Disney World Florida but much larger and more extensive. Covering 530 acres, this parks is comprised of 90 attractions, including 65 rides and shows and 25 exhibits. This park can easily be explored in two or three days. Plenty of room for expansion means many future projects are currently being designed or built. There are 70 shops and 75 eateries here. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.; however, some shops stay open until as late as 12 midnight many nights. Within walking distance are the Walt Disney World Conference Center, the Lake Buena Vista Country Club, Disney’s Plaza Entertainment District, Hotel Neiman Marcus Resort and Spa (adjacent to Neiman Marcus department store, World of Disney, and DisneyQuest at Disney’s Plaza Entertainment District), Disney’s Ottawa Lodge, Disney’s Seaside Club Resort, and Lake Buena Vista Country Club Villas. All other Walt Disney World Mexico resorts attractions are accessible by ferry and/or by PeopleMover
Entertainment District
  • Plaza Entertainment District: 260 acre outdoor shopping, dining, and entertainment district anchored by World of Disney, DisneyQuest, Cirque du Soleil, ESPN Entertainment Center, Barnes & Noble, Neiman Marcus department store, and Hotel Neiman Marcus Resort & Spa. Apart from two indoor "theme parks" (DisneyQuest, ESPN Entertainment Center), three theaters (Dock Stage Amphitheatre, Cirque du Soleil, Walter Elias Disney Concert Hall), a double-deck rotating observation tower ride, and a marina with boat rentals and fishing excursions, are over 70 shops and 60 eateries. At night, 25 nightclubs and a discothèque come to life. At 12 midnight, a fireworks show is presented on the lagoon.​

It's pretty nice, but I would never choose Mexico as a location for a park. Imagine the insane amount of people inside, water systems, other stuff. This was why I didn't want Disney Texas closer to Mexico then it already is.

Where do you think it should be located then? (Not Australia, though.)
