Walt Disney World Explorer

Hi again, i recently returned home from the World and i'v come up with a sugestions that i would love if disney inagineers and disney interactive would take to account.

I have owned a copy of The Walt Disney World Explorer 1st and 2nd editions for quite some time now, i know they have discontinued making them now, a cast member told me because they have the website. Hearing that gave me the idea of couldnt they come up with a small application we can download off the net and it updates our Walt Disney World Explorers every so often. Just like the way microsoft Encarta works. I think its a swell idea and i would love to see it become a reality.

I love using the explorers but it would be even greater if they were up to date. They could have extra areas for past attractions etc.

Whats your opinions on this idea and is there is any way i could get this suggestion through to a imagineer?

I own the 2nd version. I would love to see it updated somehow (the latest one didn't even have Animal Kingdom yet, only a sneel peek)

As far as how to get it to an immagineer, don't even bother. First of all they don't take suggestions and secondly, if they ever did take suggestions from anyone about anything, the legal issues of "stealing ideas" would run them in the ground. I think that's why they don't even bother.

Thanks Raven for the advise we just have to hope that one day in the near future they release another version which comes with the updater with it

Anyone know how to get the original WDW Explorer to run on XP. I can't even get it to recognize it on the disc to install it....

Same for the Walt Disney: Behind the Magic family museum thing (I forgot the name and I am not at home right now). Neither will install on XP...
