Walt Disney World employee injured by guest

An employee at Walt Disney World was injured by a guest this afternoon. The cast member was working at the Tomorrowland Speedway in the Magic Kingdom when they were struck by one of the cars driven by a guest this afternoon shortly after 1 p.m.

The cast member was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

The cars can go up to 7 miles per hour and are gas-powered. The attraction was shut down for a few hours, but has since reopened.

OUCH! Not only do those poor CM's run the risk of being flattened by some kiddie driver, they have to breathe those fumes and endure all that noise. I'm surprised OSHA isn't having a cow about their working conditions.
