Walt Disney Recording the Voice of Mickey Mouse

Walt and Mickey were lifelong partners and I was beyond excited when I found this rare footage of Walt recording the vocal sessions for a Mickey short. Its fun to see Walt embody the mouse.

I also embedded the video of the cartoon so you could see their vocal talents in the actual cartoon.

I thought you guys on here would enjoy as much as I did!

Walt's final time he did the voice of Mickey was on the Disneyland Television show's 4th Anniversary. And you can tell by his voice...He couldn't reach his high voice anymore...http://youtubeonrepeat.com/watch/?v=kJjhqBb3qGI&from=535&to=551

After that the remaining cartoons were voiced by Jimmy Mcdonald who was the Sound Effect engineer for many of the Disney Shorts, films, etc....Until 1984 when Wayne Allwine became the Mouse succesor..

I remember that documentary!
