NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 13, 2002--Mark Laudenslager has been named vice president of technology operations for the Walt Disney Internet Group (WDIG). He will oversee web operations for all Disney Internet properties including technical services, network engineering, and operation of the WDIG data center facilities in Seattle, WA and Orlando, Fla.

Over the past 13 years, Laudenslager has held a variety of management positions in the technology field. He joins WDIG from Severvault, a Virginia-based web hosting and outsourcing company, where he was vice president of operations. At Severvault he directed the design and implementation of all business plans, established and managed all operational and support models, and acquired and managed major accounts.

Prior to his tenure at Severvault, Laudenslager spent six years at the Capital One Financial Corporation. He held several positions there, including: director of telecommunications, director of network operations and director of e-business Infrastructure.

Laudenslager has also worked in technical operations at Tiger Software, Bloc Development and the NRC Corporation in Miami, Fla.

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and management from Franklin Pierce College and continued on to get his Master's of Business Administration (MBA) from Virginia Commonwealth University. Laudenslager recently relocated from Virginia to Seattle with his wife, son and daughter.
