GOOD. Such a devastating situation over there, and I am overjoyed to hear that Disney is doing this. I don't care if it's for PR, I don't care if I don't agree with their management decisions, this is REAL.

thats not much./

All that is is public service money . Money used to make themselves look good.

Microsoft is donating 1 million and sending people down there. Dinsey could do much better.

Also not all money donated to the red cross goes to charity. Their are other organisations to donate to where the money goes directly to the people who need it.

Although it is not THAT much,it is still a CHOICE they made and more than most people donate. The Red Cross apprecites all donations,be it 10 dollars or 100,000 dollars.

This is a ggod thing..I wish there could be one thread on here that someone does not turn around and point out "that it is not enough"..or "Disney could do more"

What are you doing for Haiti yourself?

If you only have negative stuff to say about Disney then why be here?..or go?..

Seriously, it gets annoying!

Gave $50 here.

It just seems that a company that gets a good # of cast members from Haiti, they would do more. Samuel Dalemnbert, an NBA player from Haiti has given $100k already and will match all donations made at an upcoming game.

MLB gave 1 million. The Yankees gave 500k, Google gave 1 million, Coca-Cola gave 1 million. Walmart is at 600k. Even Publix is giving 100k.

Well good for you..:D..I also donated..

I mean..I understand that people believe Disney could/should give more..and maybe they could..but why not cheer the fact that they did this..instead of putting them down?

No matter what Disney does someone will always, always have something negative to say about it..it just gets frustrating..
I mean..why not say.. Wal-mart only gave 600k!!..That is ridiculous..or did Target give any?..What about Universal Studios? then..

The point is they gave, they are contributing to a good cause..I applaud that..and every other company and person who does.

Good move by Disney and any other company or person who decides to donate, regardless of the amount or what people think of their decision.
