walmart 535 ?

we are coming down on 11/16/05.we had been there in feb. 05 and they were building a new walmart on 535. does anybody know if it is open yet?we are staying right around the corner at star island...thanks mattmoo

The Walmart at 535/Poinciana Blvd has been open for several months now. Enjoy your trip!!!!

That's handy to know, we usually drive to the one on the 192 near Medieval Times.

Yes, it is definitely a SuperWalmart. And a very nice one too (for now).

It is not NEARLY as busy as the one near MT, which is suprising, but if you are staying on Hotel Plaza Blvd, it is much closer than the one on 192.

Just in case you are interested, they opened a SuperTarget on 192 just east of 535. It is also very nice.

If you are coming from Disney property, take route 536 out which will take you directly to rte 535 where you make a right turn and it a mile or so on the right side of the road.

You'll also pass the outlet stores (gap, Vanity Fair, Carters) where there is a character warehouse there too, we stop there once in a while to check out what they have and I've bought some good disney merch at a nice discount.
