This is so EXCITING!! Are the other Fantasyland rides going to get the same refurbs?
I'm hoping there are many "Imagineered" trees strategically located throughout the new FL interspersed with natural foliage. That would create a much more magical aesthetic IMO and allow for easier application of special lighting not to mention instant year round shade.
That sounds good but I wouldn't want all of the folliage to be fake
Agreed. Especially the ground cover, hedges, bushes etc. There will be a lot of man-made water features and natural plantings will make them seem more real. I think Disney will really create something amazing with a mix of engineered and natural trees, water features, and natural and engineered rock work. Can't wait.
I'm hoping for the same thing.I hope that they don't fill in the Nautilus imprint since the tree won't technically be on that spot anymore.
I'm hoping for the same thing.
Actually what Im REALLY hoping for is a complete back-track and reopening of Mr. Toad and 20,000 Leagues :ROFLOL:

Toad Hall would be great for Fantasyland Forest. And actually have Mr Toad's Wild Ride become a wild mouse coaster too.
