walking to epcot

We will be dining at the Beach Club our first night this trip. The plan is to take a bus from our resort to Epcot and then walk to Cape May cafe. Now, can you walk back to Epcot and get in after 9 pm to catch a bus back to our resort or do we have to go to Downtown Disney to catch a bus?

As long as you are at the gate by 9-9:15 you should be OK. Any later and you might wind up having to take the bust to DTD and then to your resor or grab a cab. You can take a cab pretty much anywhere on property for under $20 and you will save yourself an hour minimum of travel time.

Yoda is on the mark. As long as Illuminations is still going on you should be ok to get back in to the park. Anything after 9:15 or so and you will prob have to head to DTD for the transfer. However, a 7:20 seating at Cape May should give you plenty of time unless you like to eat slower. I know that with my family we wouldn't have trouble making it, but of course everyone is different.

I am for eating quickly in order to make it back in time to see Illuminations...our favorite.....and I speak for my husband and our 3 boys. EEK...the DTD way back to our resort would be a nightmare. Thanks for the comments. This site is amazing for all the questions and comments we have and getting back feedback, either good or bad. Thanks again.

Get to the restaurant around 7 and you should be able to get your table right around your reservation time. Then you shouldn't have a problem to get back to the park for Illuminations. You just might not get a great spot to watch the show...but that isn't the end of the world. I have done this on many occasions.
