Walking in Walts Disneyland Footsteps Tour

Hi,

We did the above mentioned tour last Friday. We certainly enjoyed it, but I should say that the tour does not go into Walt's apartment anymore. I was told that last October, they switched out the apartment for the Dream suite. I would have rather seen Walt's apartment

I've seen both. While Walt's apartment is more interesting, there isn't much to see, honestly. It's insanely tiny. On the other hand, the Dream Suite is less interesting, but it is bigger and there is more to see. Many haven't seen the Dream Suite, so consider yourself blessed.

It doesn't do any part of Club 33 anymore either right? We took the tour a few years ago, and loved it. I think it would still be interesting without Walt's apartment or Club 33.

Just booked a tour at California Adventure and asked why they no longer go to Walt's apartment. They said it was because they are doing work on Pirates of the Caribbean.

Well that doesn't make any sense, since Walt's apartment is on Main Street.

I know neither is in DCA. I was asking why they no longer go into Walt's Apartment, and it probably was a quick answer to stop asking questions.

Yea, but you can go outside on the patio and see over towards Pirates. Don't know why they would stop going to the apartment just because of some construction at Pirates, but that was what I was told and just passing info along.

No Walt's apartment and No Club 33? I'm reconsidering doing this now in October (especially considering the price of the tour). Is there any way to find out FOR SURE what's changed?

Honestly, seeing the apartment above the fire house would be the main reason for me to do the tour. However small it is, it's the kind of "hidden secret" you'd want to see in person as part of a tour like this.
