Walking from Disney Springs to Typhoon Lagoon

Is Typhoon Lagoon within walking distance from Disney Springs? Are there pedestrian sidewalks? Or should I take the Disney bus?

Physically they are close, but there are no walkways. You'd have to take a bus.

One more question: is it true that I can enter the water parks before actual opening time to rent lockers, change clothes, etc, and that opening time actually refers to the water and the rides?

Can't help you on that one. It's been well over a decade since I've seen anything close to opening time at any Disney park... (We like to sleep in on vacation)

We were just there last month, and yes, they do let you in early and give you access to the lockers. Then they just hold you further into the park until official opening time. Have a great trip!!
