Walk right in?

Back in 2021 we do WDW and all 4 parks and our tickets on the Disney app. We opened the trip at AK and as we tried to scan the app she said we had to go to the ticket booth to get a physical ticket first. Does that still need to be done? At DL we just walk right in with the app

You can use your phone but it’s not directly through the app. On the app you’ll want to tap the three bars and go to “Set up Magic Mobile Entry”. Then you can add your pass to your Apple Wallet (or other digital wallet depending on the brand of phone).
