Waitlist success?

We are on the waitlist for BCV for the last week in January (AKL is our home resort). Since we are about 25 days out and have not received a notification, I am thinking that our chances are pretty slim of getting it. I have heard that sometimes if you call to check, you may get the room. Has anyone else had luck recently with the waitlist for BCV? Has anyone had any luck with calling? Also, how many days prior to your trip did you get the resort from your waitlist?

I would say at this point you are not going to get it. Did you make sure your WL was set up for inside 30 days though? I would call MS and check to see if anything is open. I know we see inventory online but inside 30 days it kind of changes.

I've been not so lucky with WL for BCV. Only once did it come through and for a couple nights in March one year a few years ago for a 1 bedroom.

Thanks for the response. We did get the WL up to 7 days so I was kind of hoping we still had a chance. I have heard that BCV is hard to get in to. I called MS and asked if I could change the WL to a couple of days and split the trip but he said just to leave it as is.... So here's to hoping.
