Is anybody here going to be waiting in line overnight for July 17th, Disney's actual 50th birthday? I've booked a room across the street and I was thinking of getting in line early around 5:00 a.m., but now I'm terrified because I read something at another site reporting that thousands would be camping out to be one of the first to get into the park on the real birthday. Any tips? Is 5:00 a.m. too early or too late?
Ideally, I'd love to get there as early as possible. On May 5, 6:00am was a mad house at the parking structure. I'd like to get there much earlier than that on July 17, but we'll have to see how early they'll let us line up to park. I'm thinking of leaving San Diego at 3:00am that day. I'm not sure what I'll do if the structure isn't open until 6:00, though, cause there's really no where else to wait that early in the morning.
