WAIT TIMES @ Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party?

Hello all,

We're attending MVMCP Tuesday evening.

I've been reading several third party sites with regards to what to expect... shows, performances, fireworks, characters, etc... but none seem to discuss wait times on rides? We really want to hit up a few rides that are our favorites and we're hoping to not see 90 minute wait times for Splash Mountain and Thunder Mountain Thoughts?

Depends on whether it's sold out. Wait times can get long, but not 90 min. While it may not be a walk on, expect to see much lower times than normal. But keep in mind all the other things to do during the party. You can do rides anytime.

From my experience in the past, many of the less popular attractions are walk ons, especially later in the evening. More popular attractions seem to hover between 20-45 minutes, and again, the waits get substantially shorter as the night goes on. If it's a sold out night, expect more substantial lines early on. However, they tend to thin out if you can wait.

Trouble is even in a sold out event you can't always predict where the bulk of the crowd will go. We've been to ones that were not sold out and skipped 7 Dwarves because the wait time was 45 minutes... Very hard to predict where people will want to go... it will also depend on whether other rides are open or closed.... we were seeing longer lines in part because space mountain was DOA that day so that probably pushed more people to 7 dwarves than normal.
