Wait Times May 11-18

Hey everyone!

Just got back yesterday from The World! I had read touring plans, and was expecting crowds to be 8 or 9 out of 10. I can say that was honestly way off. I would say 6 out of 10. We thought crowd levels were fantastic!

We waited 5-20 minutes for nearly everything at MK. BTMR was 35-40 minutes but we had a fast pass. Meeting the fairies was the longest, 1 hour 15 minutes, but we were okay with that.

At Epcot, the major rides (Soarin/Test Track/Mission Space) were 30-40 minutes at most but if you utilized fast pass it wasn't a big deal. Everything else was pretty much a walk on (JII, SSE, Maelstrom, Nemo, etc.). We even got to play in Innoventions which we always find impossible.

Animal Kingdom appeared to be packed, but the waits for mostly everything were very small. We had fastpasses to Everest so I didn't notice the wait, but it couldn't have been bad. The safari's were only 20 minutes mid-day. Bug's Life & Dinosaur were nearly walk on's.

HS was dead. We only waited 35 minutes for TSM! We walked into the finale of Idol & the theater wasn't that full. I think the rain that kept coming & going all week might have had something to do with the diminishing crowds. EMH's were fantastic. The morning MK & Epcot ones looked like the park wasn't even open. There was basically no people! We loved it though - I was so worried about it but it turned out great. Going in May really spoils us! :)

We were there May 9 - 16. We saw the ratings for crowd levels, too. We were greatly relieved to not have problems with the crowds. The only time we ever encountered crowds was waiting for AK to open. The rest of the parks were great. Walked right on Everest, Rock N' Roller coaster, Haunted Mansion. Never had any problems with lines.

The only problem we had was the heat. Next year, we'll move it up 2 weeks!
