Wait times can be funny..

At 11:08 Arizona time (pictured below), DHS has the longest wait attraction in all of WDW. And it's not the Slinky Dog Coaster.

Before Toy Story Land opened, I've seen R and R at over 100 minutes while other rides sat at 35. Sometimes I wonder if people travel in packs and jam up one ride at a time? Or perhaps an attraction isn't running at full capacity, increasing wait times. Thoughts? Considering that Toy Story Land just opened, I would've expected it to hold the highest wait times all day long. Especially since it's "family friendly".

As of this moment (1130 AZ time), RnR is 95, ToT is 180, SDD 130.

You haven’t seen anything until Star Wars opens.

Shoot, back when Mission Breakout was coming I saw the wait time hit 240 just before closing. I’m more or less curious as to how wait times can fluctuate so much, especially with the “hotly anticipated” Toy Story Land

As of the time of this posting, RnR is 90, ToT is 35, and Slinky is 120. Huge difference from just an hour ago. Something tells me wait times aren't always accurate.. unless capacity comes into play?

I rode the Mine Train during the soft open and the line was literally backed all the way to the entrance to Under The Sea with a CM holding a sign saying it would be like a 340 minute wait from that point or something crazy like that. We were on it in about 25! They had it running like at capacity like a well oiled machine and it was insane how quickly that line moved. Since then I've always wondered how it can take so long to get on it when it's not even backed up to the entrance of the queue. I'm sure the crazy wait times will chill out after a little bit. Sorta the same way the Ana and Elsa meet and greet used to be. That thing was insane for a while.

RnR seems to break down a lot so I think that's where much of the long wait times comes from.
Tower of Terror does too but I'd say Test Track probably should be given an award called the "Temporarily Unavailable" award. LOL! Space Mountain has generally been known as a ride with a reputation for breaking down often as well. On my trip last month I think Space Mountain was broken down for extensive periods of time 3 different days. My little boy was getting really aggravated. LOL!
