Wait listed?

Hey everyone!

I was wondering if anyone has been wait listed for a job at WDW and how long it took for you to be contacted?

I am on the wait list for both Attractions and Merchandise....part time with full availability. She said it could take anywhere from a day up to 6 months to hear back...and if I don't hear back in that time frame, to reapply.

I am really needing a job soon, and am having difficulty finding one (I am leaving to go into the military in about 4-5 months, so it's hard to find something that fits my needs) I really want to work at WDW, but am not sure if I should keep looking for something else in the meantime.

I was just wondering if there were any experiences of people getting hired fairly quickly after being wait listed.

I was wait-listed back in June and haven't hear anything. You best bet is to call your recruiter and ask for every available position they have. If you can agree on something you have a job.

Slightly off topic, but is there any way to contact WDW and tell them you will take any hourly job they have available? I applied with Merchandise as my main choice, but I would really take absolutely anything they have for me. I obviously don't have a recruiter yet like you mentioned, but is there some way of doing this?

I applied 3 weeks ago and have not received any contact at all yet. I know they send one of those "personality tests" or whatever you want to call them as a second step, since my girlfriend had to do one, but I haven't even received that yet.
