My daughter has applied for DCP a few times in recent years
This fall she was Not rejected for spring advantage but instead put on the wait list until 12/15 in case any openings happened. None did

My question is when she applies again this January does being wait listed almost guarantee an acceptance this time around

Thanks for any 411

I’ve applied 3 times for the Disney College Program in the past. The first time was right every my first semester of college. The second time was my next semester of college. This last time, I waited until the summer before my junior year to apply.

I did things differently this time. 1). I applied on the very FIRST day of registration and I stayed on top of all of the emails that came in and got everything done as soon as possible. 2). On the “jobs you want to have” options, I literally checked off everything except like two things. Instead of just choosing 2 or 3 jobs I was really interested in.

I was accepted a couple of weeks later. (Be prepared for a $500 fee due by the end of the week of your acceptance tho).

So maybe try applying as SOON as registration starts, and checking off everything you can literally handle. I am listed as an “attractions cast member” and I am Starting January the 22nd.

Another thing I did, I’m a theatre major. So I put down literally every job experience, internship, and show I ever did. I uploaded a resume on the dashboard, and listed any possible job I did under the “job experience” fields no mater what it was. Even voluntary positions.
