Waffles at Animal Kingdom Lodge?

Okay, this might seem like a picky question, but I thought if anyone would know the answer, you guys would!
We are getting ready to go to Disney again and are thinking about changing from the All-Stars to Animal Kingdom Lodge this year thanks to a great discount code. The problem? My very particular son LOVES his Mickey waffles for breakfast! We even own the waffle iron at home, but he still doesn't want to stay there if the waffles they serve aren't Mickey waffles. I checked the menu that was posted for AKL at another site and found that they DO serve waffles for breakfast, but no mention of the familiar mousey shape he loves so much.
Has anyone stayed there who might know the answer to this?
Thanks in advance!

I've never stayed at the Animal Kindgom lodge, so I'm afraid I can't answer your waffle question...

However, my family is looking into staying there next December...what sort of discount code do you have? :D

Thanks to all! I broke down and called AKL and spoke to someone at Boma (the restaurant at the Lodge) who said they do indeed have Mickey shaped waffles at the Mara, which is the cafeteria style area.
As for the codes, I'm not sure if I can mention which site I saw them on, so I'll just say that there are a number of codes out right now for AAA or Annual Passholders, as well as Florida residents. We're Annual Passholders, and received a great discount code for use in February, so I switched over from our stand-by All-Star Movies, which we love. We have always thought that All-Star Movies was fine, considering that we hardly spend time in our room. My son has always wanted a chance to stay at AKL, but for the length of time that we stay it's never been affordable. This code helped a lot! It's also valid at the other Disney resorts. For stays up to 2/11/04 its code BCE, and from 2/12/04-4/17/04 it's CUF. They always add new ones, and AAA will let you know what the code is for their discount. Also, a non-passholder code to try for the 2nd set of dates is CTN.
Wishing you a lot of luck and a bit of Pixie Dust!
