"Grand Ole Opry" star Bill Anderson has written a new "Christmas" song and done a video for it. It celebrates our favorite late night restaurant (even right outside of WDW), and it has some cameos, too. Tanya Tucker (a "classic" country star that is riding high now with a new Grammy nomination), Gretchen Wilson, and Jeanny Sealy all have roles - but the scene stealer is Kid Rock as the cook.

I like fun stuff like this, by artists who don't take themselves so seriously.

OMG, I love this, I admit I'm a northerner who heard about the "waffle house" but has never been to one. lol

Merry Christmas all
I'm a northerner, from Vermont, almost on the border of Canada and we have Waffle House Restaurants. I find it hard to believe that there are no WH's in Pennsylvania. Maybe you just never noticed. They are usually small establishments and not really talked about much except for joking.

Waffle House is a special kind of awesome. I am fortunate/unfortunate enough to have one just a few blocks from my house.

It truly is. You are missing out if you have never had your hash browns "scattered and smothered"! (And if you don't know what that means, I am sorry for your loss.)

I am a scattered, smothered, capped guy. Occasionally I will add country to the mix.

I can't remember what "capped" is right now, but I can say a lot of my friends get "scattered, smothered, and covered," but cheese at breakfast is just not my thing. (I never order "cheese eggs," but I love scrambled eggs and bacon with a side of sausage gravy. Heaven.)

Capped is mushrooms. I can take or leave cheese on hashbrowns. I always go over medium on the eggs so it is a big no-no there.
