Let me open this by saying that if you’ve recently visited the hype thread for SAVIII, you've seen this concept, but I feel like it deserves its own post.
FOREWORD:
On Saturday night, I had a dream in which Europa Park in Rust, Germany, demolished Poseidon, a water coaster located in their Greek section, in order to replace it with a ride called Voyage To The Lost Palace, which was billed on the park's official website as “an immersive experience inspired by the Minoan civilization and the Aegean islands in which guests board small scale replica Ancient Greek triremes and sail across the Aegean Sea to a lost Minoan palace while watching a classical Greek love story unfold.” In my dream, I went on Voyage To The Lost Palace on opening day and found out that the ”classical Greek love story” mentioned in the description was none other than the musical Mamma Mia!, ABBA soundtrack and all! That dream was probably influenced by me seeing Mamma Mia! on stage before I had the dream and the real-world fact that Europa Park recently redesigned Eurosat, a coaster located in the knockoff Spaceship Earth in their French area, from a ride about the Moulin Rouge to a ride based on ALW’s Phantom Of The Opera. On Sunday morning, I woke up with the idea of Voyage To The Lost Palace fresh in my mind and I made a Google Slides presentation for it in the style of a comp entry!
