Vow Renewals

Hey Everyone~
My family is going to WDW in July and my parents' 20th Anniversary is in Aug., so I was thinking about trying to set up some kind of a vow renewal for them. I know that it would be super special and I was wondering if anyone knows more about it. Thanks!

I don't know how much of a ceremony you were looking for, but they have the following on the WDW website.

"Married couples can renew their vows at Walt Disney World® Resort. Contact a Disney wedding specialist at Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings at (321) 939-4610† for a personal proposal."


Try doing a search here on the forum, there is apparently a very brief whimsical "ceremony" that can be performed at the Garden Grill in Epcot.


"For fun you could do the re-hitching cerimony at Garden Grill at the Land. It cute. They stand you up, say a few words, make you kiss for 10 seconds, then give you a certificate of "re-hitching" signed by Mickey and the gang...then you get a small cake to eat.

Plus it all free!"

Watched the DIsney Fairytale Weddings on Food Network last night. It showed some wonderful little things as well as some expensive things. Wish you had seen that. Contact the fairytale weddings and see what you can come up with.

Go to Disneyweddings.com. They have all the info you'd need regarding vow renewal packages. Otherwise, I'd make sure that you contact a Disney Rep., as well as making contact with the Resort you're staying at. Let them know what you're trying to do. You never know, they may be able to help you out more than you would expect.

The Food Network special is on again today at 4 pm eastern time. Otherwise, the Disney weddings site would probably be your best bet for info.

I did see that. We are staying at the Beach Club, so it would be more of a surprise if it was done there. Are there any other restaurants that you know of that do something similar to that of the Garden Grill?

If you get seats for Hoop-De-Doo, they do a fun little thing were they pick on anyone having an anniversary/honeymoon. It's fun for my hubby and I becuase 1) the food is GREAT and 2) it's always fun to see other couples who got married the same day we did - even if they are complete strangers.

The Yaht club has a gazebbo that a renewal can be done at! Very nice! We're looking into it for our 10th anniverary! :sohappy:
