hey all,

i bought ONE share of dinsey stock a couple of years ago and i CERTAINLY don't want my 1/100000000000 share of stock to be voted for eisner and co. so does anyone here have stock through ameritrade and know how the whole voting process works? any help would be great.

also... what does everyone here think about the china labor standards proposal? i believe at this point this is something shareholders should also support along with voting no on eisner, mitchell, estrin, and bryson. not only should we support a commitment to quality entertainment driven by creativity but we should also support that this is done responsibly and ethically from the corporate board room down to the factory.

Although I do not have my Disney stock thru Ameritrade we do have others that were bought that way. You will still get a proxy statement from the company. Did you elect to have it sent thru the email or in print? E mail, for me, arrived this past Saturday & I voted immediately & it has already been recorded. As of the 4th the print proxy statements hadn't been mailed , but they expected them to be by Friday. If you don't get one by the end of the week I would call Investor Relations. Every vote counts.
