The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World is asking for volunteers to
test new touring plans for Epcot and Disney's Animal Kingdom on March
6-7, 2003. The touring plans are efficient itineraries designed to
visit the most popular attractions in each park while minimizing the
time spent waiting in lines. If you're interested in participating in
this test, please send an e-mail to Len Testa (testa@ncat.edu) no
later than Monday, March 3, 2003. Please indicate which park you
would like to visit. A list of frequently-asked questions regarding
the tests appears below. Please e-mail Len Testa (testa@ncat.edu) for
questions not covered in the FAQ.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What time do the tests start? Where do we meet you?
-------------------------------------------------------
We typically meet volunteers at the leftmost turnstile at the park
entrance. Epcot volunteers should arrive at the entrance to Epcot by
8:30 a.m. on either day. Volunteers for the Animal Kingdom should
arrive at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 7 and at 7:30 a.m. on Friday,
March 8. Note that Friday is an "Early Entry" day at the Animal
Kingdom for Disney resort guests. Only Disney resort guests will be
admitted into the park early.

2. What attractions are included in the touring plans?
------------------------------------------------------
For Epcot, the list will include all the major attractions in Future
World, and all of the countries and major attractions in World
Showcase. For Disney's Animal Kingdom, the list includes all major
attractions and several shows.

3. Do I have to visit all of the attractions?
---------------------------------------------
Yes, we ask that volunteers be willing to experience the attractions
in the order in shown on the touring plan. As these are the most
popular attractions in each park, these are usually what most people
want to see.

4. How long does the test take?
-------------------------------
For Epcot, the touring plan may take until evening to complete. For
Disney's Animal Kingdom, the touring will probably take until later
afternoon (e.g., 4-5 p.m.).

5. Do I have to participate both days?
--------------------------------------
No, you can choose either park on either day. Of course, you
certainly can volunteer on both days, too.

6. Can I customize the touring plan to include my Priority Seating
lunch or dinner reservations?
------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes, simply follow the touring plan until mealtime, then resume the
touring plan afterward.

7. Do I get paid for volunteering? What's in it for me?
--------------------------------------------------------
We regret that we cannot pay volunteers for their effort or provide
admission into the parks. What we can give you, however, is time.
The touring plans are designed to minimize the time spent waiting in
line at each park. Our Magic Kingdom touring plans, for example, can
save up to five hours of waiting in line each day. By volunteering to
test a touring plan, you'll be able to experience the best attractions
in each park with no extra standing in line.

8. What if I have more questions?
---------------------------------
Please e-mail Len Testa (testa@ncat.edu) for questions not covered in
the FAQ.
