Awhile back, I was in the Art of Disney Store, and I saw a series of paintings by Amanda Vissell. Great paintings, and very different. If anyone knows what this technique is called, please let me know:

So, I checked out Vissell's work, and I noticed these:
Which look a lot like Vinylmation:
And then I saw Up!, which artwork by Romano, looks a lot like the art style above. For example:

Anyone else notice the similarities...or is this just a coincidence?
