Visiting Park before hotel check in with bands

Hi guys

We will be heading to Epcot tomorrow. We already have our bands and I have done the online check in. However, we are heading to the park first and checking in after the park closes. Does anyone know if this is ok with magic bands? In other words, is it necessary to check in before going to the parks?

The bands show as active in MDE, so I'm assuming all is good. FP+ is also setup.

They *should* work for admission (and FP+) without checking in at the hotel, though if your admission ticket is a ticket as part of a hotel package if not 100% sure on that. But if it's separate from the reservation (bought separately or an Annual Pass) then you should be fine.

But they won't work as a room key or dining plan until you check in at the hotel.
