Visiting New Years - What Will Be Done

So I am presuming that the following will be up and running by this upcoming 12/31/2011:

Star Tours II
Little Mermaid
Goofy's Flite School
New DCA Entrance

What about the Trolley and Carthay Theater?
Any chance any aspect of Carsland (like the smaller rides) will be open by 12/31?

The first three things on that list will be open officially on June 3rd, with Cast Member and AP Previews in late May.

The turnstile structure will be done by New Years Eve, but that's it for the entrance complex. The Buena Vista Street entrance area, including the trolley and Carthay Circle Theater aren't scheduled to be completed until June, 2012 along with Cars Land.

The two smaller rides in Cars Land are still just big dirt holes in the ground now, so there is no chance they will be open six months earlier than announced.

And.... New Years Eve? I hope you are ready for massive crowds in both parks and closed turnstiles by early afternoon.

We are also making our 1st trip to Disneyland for a post Christmas trip the 26th through the 1st. Does Disneyland have New Years fireworks shows on both Dec 30th and 31st like Disneyworld does?
