Most of you are familiar with the game VMK:
It ran from 2005-2008 but closed down as it was only intended to be a promotion for Disneyland's 50th Anniversary (hence why it had such a short run). I along with a small group of people are attempting to bring this game back in a brand new way and we're looking for people who would be interested in helping out!
It would be called "VEPCOT" (or VCOT, the name is a work in progress) and essentially it will contain the original VMK game with a brand new Epcot area that would act as a hub of sorts. Just like the original game, it will contain minigames (A Test Track "SIM Track" minigame and a Jeopardy style trivia game in the Universe of Energy to name a few), a few dark rides like Journey into Imagination (which would work similarly to how the Fantasyland Dark Rides worked in the original game) and of course just rooms where you can hang out with friends and talk. In addition to this, we plan to bring back the original "Virtual Magic Kingdom" (accessible via monorail of course) in which we plan to remaster preexisting rooms and possibly even items. The game will see all original content in due time (including minigames like Pirates of the Caribbean, The Haunted Mansion and Main Street Checkers) and will also see tons of new items, minigames and NPCs.
We are not the first to attempt this (VMK Unleashed, OpenVMK and the currently up and running MyVMK) but we want to bring this game back in a whole new way and we're actively seeking out designers, moderators and just about anyone who wants to be involved with this project. Obviously, it's in the VERY early planning phases but we have the experience, we have the assets and we have/can get the people. What we don't have however, is somebody who can code. We have all the original game files but we need someone who is able to bring it all together and hopefully even expand upon it.
